| 2025-08-05 | repot | moved into a wider shallower pot. Was filled with lots of fine roots especially at the surface. Inner section was not as dense. A lot of issues under the trunk, thicker roots and in odd directions. Cleaned out the root ball and went fairly hard, reducing back to main roots from trunk. Cut back top pretty hard as well. Will let sacrifice continue to grow for a few more years or until base thickens up. |
