| 2024-07-16 | repot | Not as much root growth for 2 years. Pot was still filled but not compact. Cut back thick roots and removed crossing root. Planted in much a much bigger pot, really want to thicken it up to diminish inverse taper. This one swells a lot on cut site, so needs to be deep. Hoping that it grows strong, need to watch watering as likely a bit too much solid vs root. Expecting Chinese elem hardness will grow into it well. |
